Alligator Plays Role Of Cop, Judge, Jury and Executioner Of Burglary Suspect

A man was breaking into a car. Police saw him and a chase ensued. The man jumped into a lake to flee police. A good samaritan 9 foot alligator took a bite out of crime by killing the suspect. Perhaps this will deter others from burglarizing vehicles in the parking lot of the Miccosukee Resort and Convention Center.

Dexter Lehtinen, one of the tribe's police legal advisors described the suspects fate for the media.Tribal police divers recovered the alligator teeth marked body. The Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner Department confirmed that the alligator was the executioner. A suspected accomplice in the alleged burglary has also been arrested.

In the interim, the alligator (executioner) has been destroyed. A sign at the lake warns people: "Danger Live Alligators." Generally gators avoid people, but this one was aggressive and showed no fear of humans. (Sounds like Harrell Franklin Braddy!)

Unfortunately, alligators usually don't get it right(tasting only bad people.)The alligator population is out of control. People have feed alligators and now many have lost their fear of people. Not a good thing. We need a humane society just for gators.
